During my recent stay at Chiemgau Hotel Viktoria, I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the owners were; their hospitality reminded me of the warm teahouses I cherish back in Nepal. The hotel's location next to the Autobahn made it a convenient stop, yet it felt surprisingly peaceful and serene. Our room was simple but delightful, featuring traditional furnishings and a cozy corner for making tea or coffee—perfect after a long ride. The views of the majestic Chiemgau Alps were breathtaking, and I could only imagine tackling the nearby climbing routes and Nordic walking trails that I had seen advertised. To top it off, they provided us with a complimentary bottle of mineral water, and I loved that it felt like staying with family. With easy access to local restaurants and the beautiful Lake Chiemsee for day trips, this spot has truly got it all for adventurers like us. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for anyone exploring the area!
